Hooks ISD ACE Program is pleased to announce a partnership with Texarkana College to provide vocational education to ACE high school students, 10th-12th grade, and any parent/guardian who has a child participating in the ACE program. Beginning March 16, Texarkana College will be starting the Diesel Technology Program and a Medical Terminology course at Hooks High School in conjunction with the Texarkana College adjunct site at TexAmericas Center. Parents and students will be offered these dual credit certificate courses in the ACE afterschool program for FREE!

We are excited for the opportunities this will bring to the Hooks Community and look forward to expanding this partnership and adding new vocational classes for the ACE program in the Fall.

The Texas ACE Program is a federally-funded afterschool program administered by the Texas Education Agency. The purpose of the program is to provide free and expanded academic services to students in high need areas. Expanded services include tutoring, homework help, enrichment activities, job readiness, and college preparation.
