Campuses included in the program are Hooks Elementary School, Hooks Junior High School and Hooks High School. The Hooks “ACE” Afterschool Centers on Education Program will be held Monday through Friday with morning hours and afterschool hours. Participating students will be provided a meal or snack each day, homework will be completed and transportation home is provided.

The four components included in the program will be academic support; enrichment opportunities; family engagement and education; as well as college/career preparation. The ACE program will continue providing opportunities for students to enhance their academic successes and enrichment experiences through homework support, tutoring, cooking, sewing, welding, art and many other fun activities. In addition, parents will have opportunities to improve their own knowledge and skills through diesel mechanics, welding, and other career-based courses. Parents are also invited and encouraged to attend monthly parent events.

Students and families interested in attending the program may enroll in August. The first day of the program will be August 27, 2018. The program will be offered at no charge to families. For more information call (903) 547-6077 x1021.
