On Sunday at 8:28 p.m., Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to a vehicle / pedestrian crash on FM-1398 in Bowie County.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that a pedestrian was walking on the wrong side of the road traveling south on FM-1398, when struck by a 2002 Chrysler 300 that was also traveling south on FM-1398.
The pedestrian identified as Kimberly Michelle Jones, a 50 year old female, from Hooks, TX, was pronounced dead on scene.
The driver, Roy Chester Robinson, a 76 year old male, from Ogden, AR, was not injured.
This crash remains under investigation. No additional information is available at this time.
