The I-30 eastbound exit ramp 223 for US 71 (State Line Avenue) in Texarkana will be closed for approximately two weeks beginning Monday, June 20 , according to a press release from TxDot to allow TxDOT.

This closure will take place in order to conduct maintenance work on the bridge crossing over the Kansas City Southern railroad.

Motorists eastbound on I-30 wanting to get to State Line Avenue will need to take exit 222 for Summerhill Road and travel down the frontage road to State Line Avenue. The construction schedule and ramp closure can change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen problems.
