Juvenile stabbed during fight

Police are investigating after a girl was stabbed during a fight at the corner of W. 24 St. and Walnut St. Wednesday afternoon.

According to Texarkana, Texas Police spokesperson Shawn Vaughn, two juvenile girls were fighting and others tried to break it up. “At some point, an adult female got involved and a knife was produced. One of the girls was stabbed in the shoulder/arm area.”

The juvenile was transported to Wadley with non-life threatening injuries.

According to Vaughn detectives are still investigating. “No arrests have been made at this point but are expected soon.”
