Kenneth was born on April 22, 1947, in Texarkana, Texas, to Tom and Beatrice Touchstone. He graduated from Hooks High School in 1965 and continued his education at East Texas State University. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Kenneth dedicated 42 years of service to Red River Army Depot before retiring. During his career, he worked extensively with military equipment, including the Bradley Carrier Vehicle, M1 Abrams tank, and various armored tanks. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Kenneth made a lasting impact in his community. He coached Hooks Little League baseball from 1975 to 1998.

As a husband, father, grandfather, coach, and friend, Kenneth worked tirelessly to serve others. He was known for his integrity and strong work ethic. He enjoyed woodworking and took great pride in creating things with his hands, but his favorite role in life was being “Papa.”

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Beatrice Touchstone, and his sisters, Martha Ann Touchstone and Linda Carol Johnson.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years, Ellen Touchstone; his son, Kevin Touchstone; granddaughter, Chandler Norman and husband, Nic; great-grandchildren, Carter and Micah; daughter, Kristie Hartline and husband, Marty; granddaughters, Blair Ellen, Alexa, and Evelyn; son, Keith Touchstone; grandson, Clayton; and granddaughter, Bailey.
