There’s a saying that positivity is contagious; we rise by lifting others.  This is exactly the motto Darla Wilf, local Coldwell Banker Elite Real Estate Agent, lives by.  She finds validation in her everyday activities, from work to running a 5k with friends. Wilf does everything with a good attitude and positive outlook.

Wilf has worked with Coldwell Banker Elite in Texarkana, Texas, for one year and garners well-deserved attention for her hard work, earning Rookie of the Year and more recently, Agent of the Month.  She sold 9 properties in Texarkana in 2017 and has no intention of slowing down, hoping to achieve more accolades.  Working with a supportive group of co-workers is also an important stimulant to her drive.

“It was awesome to be recognized for working hard my first year as a Realtor, but it was equally as awesome to be recognized for being a team player with a great group of hard-working people,” said Wilf.  “It was my first time to receive Agent of the Month. I was overjoyed that I had finally achieved a goal I set for myself. “

Her goals don’t end when she leaves the office. In fact, Wilf’s heavily involved in the community and will local non-profit organizations.  She is a supporter of Harvest Texarkana Food Bank, volunteering and donating her time and assets.  This year she is proudly serving on the Wine & Jazz Gala committee for the food bank.  The gala will be held on April 20, 2018, at 7 PM, located at the Silvermoon On Broad Street.

When Wilf isn’t volunteering, she can be found running various 5k events with friends.  Fitness is important to Wilf and she enjoys being able to use her passion for a good cause.  She also attends HITT classes, practices tennis, spinning, yoga and frequently jogs.

“ It gives me energy and endurance for a long work day and week,” she explained.

Despite constantly being on the go, Wilf manages to find time to cuddle with her two Persian cats, Tojo and John Boy, both quite animated.  Her family and fur babies provide the support and affection Wilf enjoys when she isn’t out donating her time to others or out scouting the next perfect home for a potential client.

To Wilf, her accomplishments supersede any of her own personal goals, impacting the community of Texarkana as a whole.   She explains that residential real estate not only provides housing for families, but it improves and progresses the entire community.

“This is important for the growth of our community. Texarkana is growing and I have personally helped several people buy homes here that have relocated due to great job opportunities.”
