Local McDonalds served 500 free meals, or $4,000 worth, on EMS appreciation day.

Jason Sadowski the owner of McDonalds in Texarkana, Atlanta, Ashdown and Leary said that they served approximately 500 free meals to first responders Wednesday for EMS Appreciation Day.

That was over $4,000 in free food for our local EMS, law enforcement and firefighters. Mr. Sadowski said it was a good day.

The EMS Appreciation Day was sponsored by McDonalds, Texarkana Emergency Center, Life Net and Fox Sports Radio 1400.
