A major accident on Highway 67 near Daniel’s Tire sent at least two people to a local hospital Thursday evening.
The damage indicated that a car pulled in front of a car traveling on highway 67 and was hit broad side.
Liberty Eyalu Volunteer Fire Department, Bowie County Sheriff’s deputies and LifeNet were quickly on scene blocking one lane of east bound 67.
The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
Leaving the accident a car ran the red light on Highway 59 at Kings Highway and hit the car in front of me. There were no injuries but it was blocking one lane of 59 and required police and LEVFD to respond also.
