Man arrested for stealing 31 boxes of laminate flooring from Walmart

A Texarkana was arrested by Texarkana, Texas Police for stealing 31 boxes of laminate flooring intended for renovating the store.

According to police they responded to a theft call at Walmart on New Boston Rd. on Friday, July 10, 2015.  Using surveillance video police were able to get a good description of the vehicle used.

“That night, Officer Bo Carter noticed the vehicle parked at a residence in the 2600 block of Stillwell Drive and knocked on the front door of the house to ask who drives the vehicle. When Kevin Kjellander answered the door, Officer Carter told him that they were there investigating a theft from Walmart. Kjellander then invited the officers in and showed them where the stolen flooring was.”

According to police all 31 boxes, valued at almost $3,500, were recovered and 20-year-old Kjellander was arrested for theft and taken to jail,
