Texarkana, Texas Police report a man was struck by a stray bullet while exiting his house in the area of Conella St. and Wheeler St. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. Thursday.
According to Texarkana, Texas Police spokesperson Shawn Vaughn, 911 received several calls of shots fired in the area of Connella and Wheeler. Officers arrived on scene and found the victim had already been transported to hospital by private vehicle.
Vaughn said the occupants of two vehicles were apparently shooting at each other.
The victim, a male in mid 30’s, walked out of a house and was struck by a stray bullet. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Detectives are currently investigating.
