9:00 P.M. Tuesday | 911 received a call from someone at Dollar General that someone was stealing propane tanks from Dot’s Ace Hardware on Richmond Rd.
A Texarkana Texas Police officer soon reported seeing the suspect car at Moores Ln. & Richwood Dr. and attempted to initiate a traffic stop but the vehicle fled.
According to radio traffic the suspect turned onto the new part of Morris Ln. that is still under construction heading east toward Cowhorn Creek Dr. and then bailed from the vehicle running north through backyards.
Officers recovered stolen items from where the suspect bailed from the vehicle. The suspect has yet to be located but radio traffic indicated police know who the suspect is so expect warrants to be issued.
