Margie Novell Long, age 97, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at a local nursing home. She was born on August 3, 1928 in Bodcaw, AR.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Long.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Al and Pam Gideon of Fouke, AR; daughter, Linda Bell of Texarkana, TX; two grandchildren, Cory Gideon and Katie Jones; five grandsons, Cole Gideon, Cade Gideon, Cooper Jones, Cannon Jones and Chipper Jones and a number of nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life Service will be 3pm Saturday, October 18, 2025 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown with Rev. Ronnie Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
