A multi vehicle accident sent four people to the hospital Thursday afternoon on St. Michael Drive in front of Home Depot.
According to Texarkana, Texas Police a vehicle was stopped in the roadway removing debris. A Ford Ranger driven by Adden Thompson of Texarkana, AR stopped behind this vehicle. A Chevrolet Silverado driven by Timothy Turk of Ashdown, Ark. stopped behind Thompson’s vehicle.
A Toyota Tundra driven by Mathaniel Hernandez of Ashdown, Ark. struck the rear of Turk’s vehicle forcing it into the rear of Thompson’s vehicle.
According to police a passenger in the Tundra and the driver of the Silverado were transported to St. Michael’s via Lifenet with non-life threating injuries. Thompson and a passenger in his vehicle were also transported via Lifenet.
Hernandez was issued a citation for fail to control speed.
