According to Nash Police Detective Michael Sutton the Nash Police Department will be participating in the annual “Click It or Ticket” campaign that will be in effect May 18-31, 2015.
“Our officers will be out on the streets looking for motorists and passengers not wearing their seatbelts,” says Detective Michael Sutton. “This will also include officers looking and making sure child seats are being used as required. The safety off all motorists and their passengers is our main concern, so we will be out on the streets looking for those violations and issuing citations.”
Our hope is that everyone buckles up, but as with the other agencies involved in the CIOT campaign, Nash Police Department will have zero tolerance when we observe these violations Sutton told TXK Today.
