Nash Police Arrest Arkansas man for Child Sex crimes

On Wednesday April 29th 2015 approximately 8:00 p.m., Demitres D. Coleman, 40, was arrested on an indecency with a child warrant that was reported earlier this year.

According to Nash Police Detective Michael Sutton during the investigation, a total of 3 additional victims came forward accusing Coleman of Aggravated Sexual Assault and Indecency With A Child.  Two of the cases were “cold” cases, including one in Nash from 2007.  At the time of the offenses, the victims ranged from 9-15 years of age.

The investigation led to a total of 2-Indecency With A Child charges and 1 Aggravated Sexual Assault of A Child charge filed by Nash Police Department, and depending on other government agencies, could lead to three more felony charges in other jurisdictions.

As of today, May 1st, 2015 he is being held on $50,000 bond on the initial indecency with a child charge however, Coleman is being served with two additional felony warrants today.
