New Boston High School and Redwater High School place in TxDOT Traffic Safety Competition

New Boston High School students show off the $1,500 check they received for winning the TxDOT Traffic Safety Public Service Announcement competition held Wednesday in Jefferson.  The students created a video about the hazards of distracted driving and beat out 12 other schools from the TxDOT Atlanta District which covers a nine-county area of Northeast Texas.  The funds will go towards this year’s Project Celebration at the school.
