Update at 4:o0 pm: Little River County Sheriff Gary Gregory confirms that the damage is consistent with a tornado.

According to Little River County officials Eddie Withem died from his injures from the storm. His wife, Roxanne Withem is reported to be in critical condition at this time.

The children reportedly suffered cuts and bruise and range in age from 7 to 13.
It is unknown at this time if an actual tornado touched down or if downbursts caused the destruction. According to the National Weather Service a damage survey team has been deployed to the area to investigate possible tornadoes.
