Detectives are currently investigating at Westlawn Apartments after a woman was shot and a man stabbed.
Texarkana Texas Police Department were called to the 400 block of Westlawn just before noon on Monday morning.
When officials arrived they found a woman in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. A few moments later, a vehicle was stopped four blocks down the road, and inside they located the victim of the stabbing.
All of the victims have been transported to the hospital and are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
“At this point, we are still trying to figure out what happened. . . All we know is we had a lady that was shot and a man was stabbed,” said TTPD Spokesperson, Shawn Vaughn.
Officials have detained a person of interest and are currently investigating further.
