Pickup Truck Hits Construction Truck on I-30

A single vehicle accident involving a pickup truck and a construction vehicle on Interstate 30 sent one person to the hospital Wednesday morning.

The vehicle traveling westbound on I-30 struck a stopped construction vehicle with a impact attenuator on it just west of the Nash exit.

Westbound interstate traffic is congested while first responders work to clear the scene.

The driver was transported by LifeNet with unknown injuries.
