Texarkana, Texas Police are investigating after a person was shot Monday evening.
Police responded to a shots fired call in the 100 block of Connella Street around 6:45 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene they learned one person had been shot and was on the way to the hospital.
Police blocked off Connella St. and could be seen searching the ground for evidence.
The condition of the victim is unknown at this time. No suspect information has been released.
