Police Pursuit Sends Two to Hospital

1:15 A.M. Wednesday | Nash Police Officer Looney tried to make a traffic stop for a traffic violation.  According to Officer Sutton, Public Information Officer for Nash Police Department, the suspect pulled over and stopped then immediately began accelerating and ran from Looney.  During the pursuit the suspect wrecked at the intersection of Briley Rd. (also known as Alumax Rd.) and F.M. 2148.

The Driver Bobby Giles Jr, 33 years old, was transported to a hospital by LifeNet with a possible broken leg.  There was also a passenger in the vehicle who was also taken to a hospital by LifeNet with unknown injuries.

Giles told Officer Looney the reason he ran was outstanding warrants.  It was confirmed that Giles does have an Arkansas Parole Violation warrant.
