Railfest 2017 has something for everyone

Railfest 2017 is packed full of events, vendors, and games for the community of Texarkana. Saturday kicked off with a car show hosted by Four States Auto Museum and ends with a performance by Jason Boland & the Stragglers.

The Four States Auto Museum featured a collection of Camaros through the ages in celebration of their 50 year anniversary. Other patrons and fans of vintage vehicles showed up in their finest cars to show off. This is the 12th annual spring car show hosted by the establishment.

Local oil painter, Danny Helms displays his talents in the historic Ritchie Grocery Building. Helms specializes in impressionistic landscapes and portraits, but had a stint with watercolor in the past. He is represented by Downtown Gallery in Texarkana, Arkansas.
