The pain of a new tattoo may be a little easier to justify since Red Room Tattoo’s in Texarkana is taking an extra step to donate to a good cause.

Red Room Tattoos saw where KSLE 33 local personality Anthony Craig Jackson had done giveaways last year for Christmas and the look on those peoples faces really caught our attention.

The shop came up with a couple flash tattoo ideas from Friday the 13th.

“It really made me feel like I take for granted $20 bucks here and there, because to some kids that $20 is their Christmas and it means the world to them,” owner Jessica Teran said. “So why not give back – to see the parents and grandparents he gave this money to really made my heart melt.”

Teran said it was tips only donated, but most tipped more than what was asked.

“So very thankful for our clients showing their support! Also everyone at our shop keeps up with his page and it was their idea to donate because we knew we would have a big turn out,” Teran continued.

Between the 5 artist that did them about 30 tattoos that totaled up to over $400 in tips Red Room was able to donate.

Red Room Tattoos will also participate in Toys for Tots in the next few weeks.
