Sisemore gets 45 years for Ridgecrest break-in

A Bowie County jury on Wednesday sentenced Delbert Dewayne Sisemore to 45 years for for breaking into a Texarkana home and threatening a woman with a gun.

According to Assistant District Attorney Kelley Crisp Sisemore was sentenced to 45 years and a $10,000 fine on the aggravated robbery charge, 10 years and a $2,000 fine for burglary of a habitation and 2 years and a $2,000 fine for possession of a controlled substance.

In May of 2014 Sisemore ran into the open garage of a house in the 6700 block of Ridgecrest after being seen in the house next door when the owner returned home.

Sisemore located firearms in the garage and Upon entering the residence made contact with the homeowner and demanded she give him her car keys.

According to police the homeowner refused and pushed him out of the residence and locked the door.

Officer Duane Lorance located Sisemore in the garage holding a gun which he put down when ordered.

By law Sisemore will serve the sentences concurrently.
