Bowie County Sheriff’s Office deputies, C-5 Fire Department, and LifeNet were dispatched to Country Lane and 3419 just south of Interstate 30 around 8 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
According to radio dispatch the shooter was trying to break up a fight between her brother and the victim. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
C-5 Fire Department had Farm Road 3419 closed on both sides of I-30 due to an active crime scene.
