Snowy Steps Lead to Burglary Arrest

Early Sunday morning, Texarkana Police responded to a burglary alarm at a convenience store in the 3600 block of Summerhill Road. The suspect had forced entry through the back door and made off with several vaping products.

However, the recent snowfall turned out to be the suspect’s undoing. Officer Kevin Cornelius followed a clear set of footprints leading away from the store for nearly a mile, straight to a residence on Holiday Lane.

In addition to the trail in the snow, the suspect’s mother discovered the stolen products hidden in his room.
