St. James Day School is bringing k-6th grade students to present with WeDo 2.0, LEGO NXT, Lego Mindstorm, Vex IQ, Robotics Inventions, focusing on Mars exploration & colonization, and Drones.
Superintendents, Administrators, and students from dozens of school districts have been invited to learn about how WE do robotics.
“I am incredibly excited to have been invited as a showcase for this event, said Shannon Renee Kirkland Director of Innovation & Academic Technology St. James Day School.  “Our students have been unknowingly preparing since the first week of school when they were introduced to various types of robotics.”
The exhibition will be held at the Donald W. Reynolds Center on the Campus of Southern Arkansas University from 9:30 am until 2:00 pm.
Dr. Guevara stated, “St. James will be a key component of our success.”
This exhibition will showcase varied robotics and drones in a platform-free environment. Dozens of neighboring school districts will be transporting students and administrators who will interact with our students by asking questions, watching demonstrations, and listening to presentations.
