St. Michael Drive Tops Police Traffic Survey For Most Speeders

Texarkana, Texas Police Department recently conducted a traffic survey at six locations around town. An officer in an unmarked vehicle recorded speed and seat belt usage by motorist at various locations.

According to police the top speed recorded was 78 mph in a 45 mph zone on Mall Drive. St Michael Drive was the location with the most non-compliance of the speed limit.

Slow down and stay safe! According to police reports failure to control speed is the top cause of accidents in Texarkana.
