Summer Ridge now open for access to Bryce’s


The City of Texarkana, Texas has officially accepted the construction of Summer Ridge Drive, which provides a route from Summerhill Road to Mall Drive, and has opened the street to the public. The new road will allow motorists access to Sonic, Bryce’s Cafeteria, retail stores and future development.

This project was developed by a private party who was reimbursed for construction costs in the amount of $970,607.93 from a Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone fund.

The speed limit on Summer Ridge is 30 miles per hour.
