The Texarkana, Texas SWAT team assisted the department’s Special Investigations Unit with the arrest of two wanted fugitives at a residence in the 1200 block of Olive Street Thursday.
According to Texarkana, Texas Police Department Public Information Officer Sergeant Mike Jones, Lloyd Jones, 30, of Texarkana, Texas, was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Also arrested was Ingrid Clay, 39, of Texarkana, Texas, for an outstanding warrant for a Probation Violation on an Aggravated Robbery charge.
According to Sergeant Jones both Jones and Clay were taken to the Bi-State Criminal Justice Center jail and no bond has been set.
