TAPD SWAT Arrests Felony Suspect At OYO Hotel
Timothy Spencer, 37, was taken into custody without incident at the OYO Hotel on North State Line Avenue after TAPD SWAT assisted the 8 South Drug Task Force in executing a felony arrest warrant.
TEXARKANA, Ark. — The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department SWAT team assisted the 8 South Drug Task Force in executing a felony arrest warrant at the OYO Hotel on North State Line Avenue on Thursday night, authorities said.
Timothy Spencer, 37, was taken into custody without incident at approximately 9:00 p.m. at the hotel located at 5210 N. State Line Avenue, according to TAPD.
Prior to serving the warrant, SWAT personnel developed and executed a tactical plan to safely apprehend Spencer.
Spencer was arrested on felony warrants and charges including residential burglary, possession of a firearm by certain persons, two counts of theft of property, possession of a controlled substance Schedule II methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
