A&M-Texarkana Eagles to make first RRAC appearance


The Texas A&M University-Texarkana Eagles baseball team will make its first Red River Athletic Conference tournament appearance today, May 5, at Pilot Field on the campus of Louisiana State University Shreveport.

The #2 seed Eagles placed second in RRAC standings this season and will face host and third-seeded LSUS in a 3 p.m. game.

This is the second year for the Eagles baseball program and the second year to advance to conference play. In 2016, the Eagles played in the Association of Independent Institutions Conference.
