Several Texarkana Homeless Coalition agencies will host Thanksgiving meals on Thursday, November 24th, 2016 and volunteers from the community are needed.
The Randy Sams Outreach Shelter located at 402 Oak St in Texarkana, Texas will host Thanksgiving lunch from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Volunteers are needed at 10 a.m. For more information volunteers are encouraged to contact the shelter directly at (903) 792-7024.
Later the same day, the Salvation Army of Texarkana located at 316 Hazel St, Texarkana, Arkansas will host a Thanksgiving dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged to contact the Salvation Army of Texarkana in advance at (870) 774-2701.
