Texas High School Band students have been selected for Texas Music Educators Association Region IV All-Region Jazz Band.

Texas High School Band students have been selected to fill seven of the twenty available spots in the Texas Music Educators

Association Region IV All-Region Jazz Band. Auditions were held September 19
in Texarkana, TX.

Under the direction of Jazz Band Directors, John Loanzon and Leslie Loanzon, THS students earning regional placement are:

Craig Crawford – 1 st Chair Alto Sax; Kyasia Hawkins – 1 st Chair – Tenor Sax; Marquez Roach – 2 nd Chair Drums; Connor Corbett – 2 nd Chair – Tenor Sax; Spencer Havel – 2 nd Chair – Trombone; Colin Runnels – 2 nd Chair – Trumpet; A.J. Reed – 3 rd Chair – Trumpet.

Additionally, Craig Crawford and Colin Runnels qualified for the TMEA
Area Jazz Band.

Members of the All-Region Jazz Band will participate in a public concert
which will highlight the musical abilities of the students on Saturday, December 9.
