Texarkana, TX – Texas Middle School Principal, Tim Lambert, has been named as the Texas Middle School Principal of the Year by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP).
Lambert was one of twenty who had been selected as a Regional Middle School Principal of the Year in June 2018. School administrators are nominated and chosen by their peers within their regions. Nominations are based upon exemplary performance and outstanding leadership.
Lambert became Principal of Texas Middle School in June 2013. He began his career in education in 1993 and has served within elementary and secondary schools in our area as a teacher, coach and administrator. Lambert served as Principal for Hughes Springs Elementary from 2002-2005, Special Education Director for the Cass County Cooperative from 2005-2008, Principal for Daingerfield High School from 2008-2011 and Principal of Atlanta High School from 2011-2013, where he was named the TASSP Region VIII High School Principal of the Year in 2013.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stephen F. Austin State University and holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce along with Principal and Superintendent Certifications.
Lambert served for ten years as a non-commissioned officer for the U.S. Air Force Reserves stationed at Barksdale Air Force.
