The train caboose donated by Union Pacific was moved to the Front Street Festival Plaza at Wood Street and Broad Street Wednesday.
Cleve Batte Construction and Keith Smith House Movers donated their services to move the house from its location in the rail yard to the plaza.
According to the city they plan to use the caboose for different functions downtown. It should also be a great tourist attraction and picture spot.
The city of Texarkana, Arkansas thanked Mary Beck, Eston McGee, Mark Shoptaw, Smitty Smith, Cleve Batte, Keith Smith and Street Division of Public Works, Parks and Recreation Division of Public Works and the many supporters of the RailFest improvements downtown.
