[dropcap]A[/dropcap]round 12:00 A.M Friday morning Texarkana Fire Department responded to a call of a truck fully engulfed in flames behind the Sonic on New Boston Rd. When police arrived they observed a man walking away from the vehicle.

Sergeant Aaron Brower, Public Information Officer for TTPD, confirmed that the man was detained for investigation, when it was then discovered he had prior warrants he was placed under arrest. The fire was an accident and the man knew he had warrants so he just walked away. The fire department had the flames extinguished quickly.
