Two Dead and Five Injured in Wreck on 259

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol two people are dead and five injured after a wreck on 259 just north of the Texas border.

John Nguyen, 22, was headed north in a Scion on US 259 when he crossed over the center line hitting the rear of one car, causing it to spin, and then collided head on with a Cadillac .

Nguyen and Jenny Nguyen, 16, were both pronounced dead on the scene. Two other passengers of the Scion, both 16, were taken by medical helicopter to Tyler.

The driver of the Cadillac Katelyn Ginn, 25, of Greenville, Texas, was transported to Texarkana by ambulance. One Cadillac passenger was airlifted to Texarkana the other to Oklahoma City.

The occupants of the other vehicle involved were uninjured.
