The Texarkana Texas Police Department has arrested two fourteen year old juveniles and charged them with the robbery that occurred on the parking lot of a grocery store on Sunday.

Officers were dispatched to the report of a robbery of an individual at the Walmart Neighborhood Market, located in the 3500 block of Richmond Road, at approximately 4:30 on Sunday afternoon. The victim told officers that she was sitting in her vehicle in the parking lot when two young males approached her. They initially asked to use her cell phone and started to walk away after she refused. However, they both returned to her window a few seconds later. One of the suspects pointed a pistol at her and demanded she hand over her purse. The suspects then fled with the victim’s property on foot before getting into a vehicle driven by an unknown person.

Detectives were able to identify the two juveniles based upon the witness’ descriptions and surveillance video obtained from the store. They were both arrested on Monday without incident and are currently being held in area juvenile detention centers.
