The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality visits the Spring Lake Park “duck muck’ dumping site. TCEQ issued a warning to Tatum Excavating Company and asked nearby residents to monitor the environmental variables.
Spring Lake Park is being dredged and TEC is dumping the waste at a pit in Wamba, Texas. The site is out of city limits, but nearby residents fear the air pollution can be harmful to children and elderly in the area.
