Woman arrested for stabbing ex-boyfriend

A woman is in custody for allegedly stabbing her ex-boyfriend in the side with a small kitchen knife, according to Texarkana, TX. Police Spokesperson Shawn Vaughn.

According to Vaughn, the man went to the home of his ex-girlfriend on Robin Ln. and the two got into a fight.

Vaughn said that she stabbed him with a knife and he hit her with a pan, but it is not clear who attacked first.

The man fled in his vehicle and wrecked out on Mall Dr. at which point he was transported by LifeNet to CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital.

The woman was arrested by TTPD for aggravated assault-family violence after being released from the hospital. Vaughn said they may also arrest the man when he is released from the hospital.
