A woman that Officer Billy Giddens arrested almost 11 years ago presented him with a plaque today for changing her life.
Janet Clark was arrested by Officer Giddens for a felony offense she committed. Clark said that the talk Officer Giddens had on the way to jail really influenced her and she started turning her life around after that.
Clark presented the plaque to Giddens this morning at the Texarkana, Texas Police Office with her 9 year old granddaughter.
Clark said, “I got in trouble for doing something I shouldn’t have been doing, but in the long run I’ve been the winner.”
The plaque Clark presented to Giddens was, “in recognition of kindness and words of inspiration.”
