Wreck closes Highway 67

UPDATE – 67 is now open.

4:45 a.m. Saturday | A single vehicle rollover accident left U.S. 67 blocked by downed power lines Saturday morning.

The accident occurred just west of Kings Highway on U.S. 67.   The vehicle came to rest upside down breaking a utility pole and leaving a powerline hanging low over the highway.

Liberty Eylau Volunteer Fire Department first responders were forced to close the highway due to the power lines hanging low over U.S. 67.

The driver’s injuries were non life threatening.
