A single vehicle accident took out a utility pole at the corner of W. 7th Street and Southwestern Drive Tuesday afternoon.
The accident has power out in the area, including the traffic lights at W. 7th St. and Buchanan Rd. AEP SWEPCO reports 917 customers without power.
No injuries were reported in the accident.
