Charlotte Jean Long, age 74, of Mansfield, Louisiana, died Monday, January 4, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mrs. Long was born March 14, 1946, in Texarkana, Arkansas to Leslie Ramsey and Lela Anderson Ramsey. She grew up in Nash, Texas and graduated from Texas High School. She then obtained an associate degree from Texarkana College and had many different careers throughout the years. In her spare time, Charlotte enjoyed bowling and cross-stitching. She was a member of First Baptist Church Nash.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Margie Lohman, Helen Carroll, and Dorothy Moore.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Long of Mansfield, Louisiana; one daughter Carla Binning and husband, Len of Mansfield, Louisiana; one son Daniel Chad Long and his wife, Amy of Frisco, Texas; four grandchildren, Ryker Long, Arianna Long, Evan Binning and Sidney Binning; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021, at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Freeman and Benjamin Long officiating.
Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service on Friday.
