James David Norton, age 63, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, February 1, 2026 at his residence.
Mr. Norton was born September 19, 1962 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot.
He was preceded in death by his father, William ‘W.D.’ Norton and stepfather, Sherdon D. ‘Pete’ Lewis and by four brothers, Steve Norton, Lanny Norton, Jeff Lewis and Keith Lewis.
He is survived is survived by his special family, Jason Johnston and Joana; two brothers, Jerry Norton and wife Bertie and Grady Norton and wife Cindi; three sisters, Teresa Norton Adkins, Michelle Pitman and husband Scott, Phyllis Lewis and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the First Church of Red Lick with Pastor Don Crutcher officiating. Burial will be in Red Lick Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 prior to the service.
