Kelly Monroe Robinson aka “Pops”, age 85, of Avery, Texas passed away on February 28, 2021 in a local hospital.
Mr. Robinson was born on August 31, 1935 in Texarkana, Texas to his parents Eddie and Cleoda McMillan Robinson. He was a faithful member of the Avery Missionary Baptist Church and the Avery Masonic Lodge #921. He had a passion for bull dogging and team roping.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Kelly Dean Robinson; and his brother, Eddie Mack Robinson.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Ivas Robinson; his two daughters, Jerri Martz and husband Billy, Sandra Noey and husband John; His grandchildren, Cody Booth, Colten Phelps and wife Krissy, Tanner Phelps and wife Santanna; great grandchildren, Bryce, Brooks, Jaycee, Elijah, Zoey, Cashton, and Reagan; his brother, Jerry Robinson; along with numerous other relatives.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
