Two Hempstead County Sheriffs Deputies were dispatched at 8:19 a.m. yesterday to 114 Sunset Circle in Saratoga, Ark., because there was an alligator in a swimming pool.

Upon arrival, the deputies saw a two-foot alligator in the swimming pool, according to Hempstead County Sheriff James Singleton.

Deputies called Arkansas Game and Fish officer, Dennis Hovarter, who was able to catch the alligator using a net. Hovarter then took the alligator off the property to be released.
