A Miller County couple is facing multiple child sex abuse charges in Miller County.

Prosecutors formally charged Sarah Walker, 28, with two counts of rape, and single counts of fourth degree sexual assault and sexual indecency with a child earlier this month. Michael Walker, 31, hasn’t been formally charged yet by prosecutors but he was arrested Sept. 22 on charges of rape and sexual indecency with a child.

Sarah Walker was arrested Aug. 26. The charges against her concern two boys, ages 10 and 15, one of whom is a relative of Michael Walker. That boy was allegedly molested by Michael Walker repeatedly beginning when the boy was five, a probable cause affidavit states.

According to court records, Sarah Walker supplied the boys with alcohol, synthetic marijuana and Xanax, a prescription tranquilizer. Sarah Walker is currently free on a $15,000 bond. Michael Walker is being held in the Miller County jail. His bail is set at $500,000.

Michael Walker allegedly threatened to kill the people who initially reported the alleged sexual abuse to law enforcement in August. He is scheduled to return to court next month. At a hearing Monday, Miller County Circuit Judge Kirk Johnson scheduled Sarah Walker for a pretrial hearing in January.

Fourth degree sexual assault and sexual indecency with a child are punishable by a fine up to $10,000 and up to six years in prison. If convicted of rape, Michael and Sarah Walker face 10 to 40 years or life in prison.
